Dear friend of birds,
I want to take a moment to tell you that I am so thankful for people like you who recognize what a critical time this is for the environment — for birds, their habitats, and wildlife in our beautiful Great Lakes state and beyond. As we face the ever-increasing number of issues that call us to action through our pillars of conservation, education, and research, your support continues to fuel our work — work that is necessary for land protection, habitat enhancement, and bird conservation statewide.
Thank you for being a member, for putting your values to work in your daily life, and for helping us do the work that will:
- Protect native lands in Michigan.
- Fight legislation that puts birds at risk.
- Continue monitoring bird migration for research advancements at Whitefish Point Bird Observatory.
- Educate future generations of bird-appreciating, informed conservationists.
However you spend your time this week, we hope you join us in celebrating the impact your support and involvement has made for bird conservation in Michigan.
