We are pleased to announce that from April 1 through June 30, 2018, Michigan Audubon will be the recipient of the One Dime at a Time program at Whole Foods Market in Ingham, Oakland, and Washtenaw counties. At participating Whole Foods Market locations through June 30, shoppers who bring reusable bags will be given the option to take 10 cents off their total purchase per bag at checkout, or donate that discount to Michigan Audubon.

We are very grateful to be chosen for this program and proud to be a community partner with Whole Foods Market in connecting birds and people for the benefit of both through conservation, education, and research in the state of Michigan.

So make sure to grab your reusable shopping bags and head out to your neighborhood Whole Foods Market soon! Not only is it a great way to help reduce our negative impact on the environment through eliminating the use of single-use plastic and paper bags, but thanks to Whole Foods Market, it’s a great way to make a positive impact for birds.
