This post was updated on May 12, 2020.

In light of recent developments, Michigan Audubon is taking a series of precautionary measures to protect the most vulnerable members of our community, while still allowing those who choose to do so to continue to enjoy our many bird- and nature-centric programs. Our thoughts are with the individuals and families who have already been affected by this virus. We would like to encourage everyone to remain calm throughout this time and to stay abreast of the latest recommendations from health officials.

Out of an abundance of caution, we are announcing the following modifications to our upcoming activities.

OFFICE CLOSED TO VISITORS

In light of concerns about the potential impact of the continued spread of COVID-19, we are restricting access to our office to essential visitors only, effective Thursday, March 12. We plan to re-assess this policy after stay-at-home orders are lifted and we will decide then if this restricted access needs to be continued.

The Michigan Audubon staff is teleworking at this time. The best way to reach us is via email. If you have a general inquiry, you may email birds@michiganaudubon.org.
