In the spirit of gratitude, Michigan Audubon is seeking your support this #GivingTuesday to help build a lasting legacy for Whitefish Point Bird Observatory

When Michigan Audubon formally acquired WPBO in 2016, a fund was established to help secure its future. Our vision and commitment to building this endowment into a sustaining fund for avian research, monitoring, and education are achievable with the support of our members and partners in Michigan bird conservation!

If you are able, please consider donating to support this multidimensional work that both celebrates and protects Whitefish Point. Your gift will help provide annual funding stability for our species monitoring, research projects, outreach, and education programs for years to come.

Our goal is to raise $5,000 on November 30 for Giving Tuesday, the biggest day in global giving. This $5,000 goal is part of our ongoing work to grow the WPBO endowment toward its greater $325,000 goal by the end of 2023, a goal that will help secure its legacy for birds and people!

We are truly grateful for your ongoing support and commitment to birds and places like Whitefish Point that they (and we) depend on.

Gratefully,

Heather Good
Executive Director

Become a Winged Warrior for WPBO!

We have extended our Giving Tuesday efforts to include peer-to-peer fundraising, with each Winged Warrior creating their own fundraising page, featuring a personal goal and story to share with others through a unique link. You can view the headway they are making here.

You, too, can become a Winged Warrior for Giving Tuesday by filling out this form. Once completed, Michigan Audubon staff will create your page and send you everything you need to start your fundraising journey!
