Community Powered. Science Driven.

This year we transformed our traditional Birdathon Big Day fundraiser into a week-long celebration of birds, research, and community-powered conservation.

From May 18-25, chapter teams and our staff team at the WPBO counted as many birds as possible in a 24 hour time period and raised funds for statewide research and their chapters!

You can still help us reach our goal: $15,000 to Strengthen Bird Research Across Michigan

By supporting Birdathon, you’re making a meaningful impact. All donors will receive the 2026 Birdathon Species List.
