The Mi Bird-Friendly Communities program seeks to inspire environmental wonder and stewardship among city residents, community members, and local businesses through four programmatic elements: urban conservation education, species-specific conservation, native landscaping, and hazard reduction for migratory birds.

We will also be broadcasting the webinar live through our Facebook page and a recording will be made available following the event.

This webinar will be presented by Michigan Audubon Education Coordinator Lindsay Cain. Lindsay’s passion for the natural world started at a young age. Her desire for protecting and conserving nature was fostered through environmental research as an undergraduate at Alma College and a graduate student in the School of Natural Resources and Environment at the University of Michigan. Lindsay’s deep passion for nature is coupled with a desire to learn and share information through outreach and education. As a big proponent of science, Lindsay finds her biggest and best opportunity to make the world a better place by helping educate and inform others.

This event is a part of our Mi Bird-Friendly Communities Lunch & Learn webinar series. Each webinar takes place on the second Tuesday of each month at 12 p.m. and is free.
