Invasive plants pose a risk for our native plants and animals. They can be found anywhere — in nature areas and preserves, municipal landscapes, or your yard — making them a priority for our Mi Bird-Friendly Communities program!

Around the state of Michigan, Cooperative Invasive Species Management Areas are groups of nonprofits, government agencies, businesses, and volunteers that have come together to tackle the issue of invasive species in their regions.

Join us in learning about the identification, treatment, and prevention of invasive plant species you can find in your area — as well as new ones to look out for — from BCK CISMA Coordinator Fallon Chabala. She will also highlight how you can help invasive species management in your community and share helpful invasive species resources.

Registration for the Zoom webinar will open two weeks prior to the event.

We will also be broadcasting the webinar live through our Facebook page and a recording will be made available following the event.
