Kirtland’s Warbler Festival

On Saturday, June 3, you will have an excellent chance to see a Kirtland’s Warbler through the Kirtland’s Warbler Festival in Roscommon. In addition to KW tours, there will be a Leather-leaf Bog nature hike, children’s activities, vendors, and educational programs. This year’s presenters include Ancilleno Davis, a former member of the Kirtland’s Warbler research team in the Bahamas, who will talk about important work on the warbler’s wintering grounds.
The Kirtland’s Warbler Festival will be in full swing starting at 7:30 a.m. with Kirtland’s Warbler tours and continues throughout the day with exciting kids’ activities, local vendors and interactive workshops. This is a family focused event with something for people of every age to enjoy!
