Join the Straits Area Audubon Society for Islands & Wetlands of the greater Straits Area: Their importance to threatened bird species and other wildlife presented by Elliot Nelson, Michigan Sea Grant Extensions Educator.
The Straits Area Audubon Society meets monthly from September through May at 6 p.m. on the second Wednesday, at the Cheboygan Area Public Library. The public is invited to these free meetings, which feature, raffle prizes, refreshments, recent nature sightings, and field trip reports. Field trips to natural areas in northern Michigan also are free and open to the public.
