Birding Tour – Whitefish Point Bird Observatory

The Whitefish Point Bird Observatory Birding Tour is lead by Jerry Ziarno and Myles McNally. The main purpose of this tour is to view large numbers of migrating waterfowl that pass through the Saginaw Bay marshes in early Spring. Early shorebirds and raptors in migration may be observed along with many species of gull. On a similar tour in 2012, 75 species were tallied for an exciting day. This carpool caravan tour will cover the west side of Saginaw Bay from Tawas down to Bay City. We will have an early start from a convenient meeting place in Bay City where the tour will also end. Participants are responsible for arranging their own overnight accommodations. The fee to participate is $50/person for WPBO members, $75/person for non-members (fee includes membership). The fee does not include meals or lodging.

To participate in this trip you must download the registration form and mail with payment to WPBO.
