Birdathon at Lake St. Clair Metropark

May 18th – For 24 hours!

The Macomb Audubon Society will be participating in the 2026 Michigan Audubon Birdathon.  This is  a 24-hour marathon birding event held at Lake St. Clair Metropark.  The goal is to have the Macomb Audubon team count as many species on the property in one day as possible.    This fundraising event of Michigan Audubon will pass along a portion of the proceeds to the Macomb Audubon Society.  Online donations can be made for our team.  We are competing against other teams across the state.  We get a portion of the donations for participating. If our team has the highest donations or highest bird count, our portion from MA is increased by 150%.
