Three Shores CISMA (Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area) is looking for volunteers to assist with removing spotted knapweed at Whitefish Point in Paradise, Michigan, on July 21 and 28.

Spotted knapweed pulling will begin at 11 a.m. and continue until approximately 3:30 p.m. Stop by to lend a hand within that time frame and look for crew members wearing Three Shores CISMA shirts or the teardrop banner when you arrive. Garbage bags and extra work gloves will be available to volunteers.

Spotted knapweed is an invasive plant species that can reduce biodiversity by choking out native vegetation and is present among the dunes at Whitefish Point.
