Please join us for the dedication of the new Motus tower at Whitefish Point Bird Observatory in memory of Linda Jo Klemens — birder, conservationist, teacher and friend.

Growing up in the forests and fields surrounding Hubbard Lake, Linda was an avid conservationist from her earliest days. Nurtured by her family, she spent many days with sisters and friends exploring the woods, wetlands and big lake together. Linda was active in the Thunder Bay Audubon Chapter for most of her adult life, serving as the President for the past twelve years. Together with Craig, her husband of fifty
years, they travelled across America spotting shore birds, migratory birds, endangered birds, regional
species and rare sightings.

The dedication will take place at 11:30 a.m. at the Owl’s Roost Gift Shop followed by lunch at the Tahquamenon Falls Brewery (at each individual’s expense).

The dedication is hosted by Michigan Audubon and Thunder Bay Audubon Society. Please RSVP to TBAS President Karen Tetzlaff at tetzlaffk@gmail.com.
