Please join us for a stewardship workday at Otis Farm Bird Sanctuary, located in Hastings. Help us enhance this nature preserve through stewardship and habitat improvements. We will focus on manual removal of invasive woody shrubs — a process to continue to improve the habitat for grassland birds and wildlife. Please come prepared for outdoor work, dressing for the weather; wear non-cotton layers, long pants, long sleeves, closed-toed boots (hiking boots or rubber boots work well), and a warm hat and gloves. Bring leather work gloves, water, and snacks, although we will have some on hand to share. This event is weather dependent. If an event is canceled, all those who RSVP will receive an email by 5 p.m. the evening before.

Contact Linnea Rowse at lrowse@michiganaudubon.org or 517-580-7364 with any questions or to RSVP.
