Woodland wildflowers bloom quickly before the leaves open on the trees above them. On our walk through the Beech Maple Woods today, see if you can find Dutchman’s breeches, Trout Lily, Cut-leaved Toothwort, and Spring Beauty. Many others can be discovered too, if you look closely. Meet Interpretive Naturalist Jeanne Henderson at the big Red Oak in front of the Sugarhouse, for this short walk (about one mile).
