Join world birder & long-time PRAS member Dick Taylor for a leisurely walk northward along a wooded portion of the North Country Trail, returning southward along the beautiful shores of Sturgeon Bay, with Waugoschance Point in the distance. On this walk we’ll be looking for resident and migrating birds. Meet at 9:30 a.m. at the parking lot on Lakeview Road, just west of Sturgeon Bay. From Cross Village go north along the shore on Lake Shore Drive approx 6 miles, going past the Bliss Township Beach. When the road turns eastward, away from Lake Michigan, watch for the parking lot on your left. For more info contact Dick at 231-526-6558. Optional group lunch at Legs Inn at noon.
