Haehnle Sanctuary Volunteer Workday

We will be having a volunteer workday at our Haehnle Sanctuary in Grass Lake, Thursday, March 21st from 9 a.m – 12pm.
Savanna restoration efforts near the parking lot have recently advanced as a result of forestry mowing. We will be cutting back areas of invasive shrubs that the mower could not reach.
We will meet by the kiosk at the observation hill. Please bring your own tools if able to such as loppers and hand saws. Please dress appropriately with gloves, closed toed shoes, pants, and long sleeves. We recommend bringing water, sunscreen and insect repellent as well.
