Join other bird lovers for the 10th Annual Thornapple Woodpecker Festival on the Paul Henry – Thornapple Trail, which offers wonderful opportunities to see Michigan woodpeckers, including the Red-headed Woodpecker. Meet at the Middleville Village Hall, 100 E. Main St., Middleville, MI 49333 for guided tours. Golf cart rides available for mobility impaired. Birding presentations at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., and 10 a.m. plus ongoing exhibits in the Village Hall. You will also be able to get directions to other birding hotspots such as Maher Sanctuary in northern Barry County.
