Out of an abundance of caution and to prevent the spread of COVID-19, this tour has been canceled.

Tour Dates: May 9–10, 2020

Are you looking to check Henslow’s Sparrow or Cerulean Warbler off your list? Interested in seeing migratory warblers? Then join Michigan Audubon and Josh Haas, our birding guide and experienced avian photographer, on a tour of Barry County’s birding hotspots.

The trip is limited to 14 participants and we anticipate it filling quickly. The fee for the trip is $100 for Michigan Audubon members and $125 for non-members. Please note that the trip fee does not include meals or lodging.

This trip is rated MODERATE. Travel to sites is done by carpool caravan, but there will be a significant amount of walking at some sites. Terrain ranges from flat to hilly and mud may be a factor. Participants should be able to withstand a variety of weather possibilities including rain, wind, and sun.

No membership or renewal fees are included with event tickets. If you would like to join Michigan Audubon and register for this event as a member, please click here. Once you’ve purchased your membership, you may register for this event as a member.

Refund Policy: If you must cancel your participation in a Michigan Audubon event, fees are refundable (minus a $25 processing fee) up until one month prior to the tour. If the cancellation occurs less than a month before, but more than two weeks before the tour, a 50% refund will apply. Cancellations occurring less than two weeks prior to the tour will forfeit the entire fee. Membership fees are not refundable.
