Join Ed Post for the third presentation of Audubon Society Kalamazoo’s 2017-2018 program season as he focuses on “Those Amazing Birds.”  This illustrated program looks at the amazing diversity and fascinating natural history of North American birds through the eyes of a dedicated bird photographer. We’ll look at the specialized anatomy of birds, how they care for their young, and how they survive in extremes like the frozen tundra and blistering desert. The poetic beauty of birds will color the informative narrative about our feathered friends.

Ed Post has been a serious photographer for over 30 years. He specializes in landscape and nature photography, but also worked as a part-time newspaper and sports photographer for 15 years.  Ed frequently teaches photography classes, leads photography trips, and conducts workshops.  He is widely published and he displays his work at local galleries in West Michigan. You are invited to meet and hear Ed on November 27 at the People’s Church, 1758 North 10th Street, Kalamazoo. The program starts at 7:30 PM and is preceded by a social time with light refreshments at 7:00 PM. Guests and the general public are encouraged to attend. Handicap parking and access is at either the front or rear entrance of the building. Please remember to bring your own coffee mug to reduce dishwashing.
