What to Expect:

Join us for an evening of workshops, talks, hikes, and interactions with astronomy and nature experts from Michigan State University and Michigan Audubon.

6:00-7:00 pm Bring your own flashlights and viewing equipment (binoculars, telescopes, apps). Learn to use them at our Tech and Tools workshops.

7:00- 8:00 Join our Q&A session with an Abrams astronomer, take guided evening birdwatching hikes with Michigan Audubon, or enjoy an unguided lantern walk through the woods.  Lantern walks are open until 8:30 pm.

7:30- end. Red cellophane provided at flashlight station, bonfire, concessions available for purchase.

8:30-10:30 Star Party. Bring a blanket, lawn chair, ukulele.  Abrams will have multiple viewing stations, but feel free to bring your own equipment.

Rain cancels.  No make-up date.

Event is free but vehicle admission fees apply.
