Chapter Event – Birding for Fun, Spring Lake – Petoskey Regional Audubon Society

July 15, 22 & 29 (Wednesdays) 10:00-11:00 am

Leaders: Cynthia Donahey & Tracy Datlen

This summer birding series is designed to introduce the fun of birding to families, summer visitors and beginners. Spring Lake is home to many nesting species and attracts a variety of birds who find food in the lakes and wetlands. Bring your out-of-town visitors along to share the fun of birding. Birds are easy to see and abundant. Easy walking on boardwalks or paved trails. Stroller and family-friendly. Loaner binoculars will be provided. Expert birders especially invited to share their knowledge with newcomers to birding. Walk will leave the pavilion at 10:00 and last one hour, weather permitting.
