Join us at the Haehnle Sanctuary on November 7 from 3 to 6 p.m. for a Michigan Young Birders Network meet-up.

This is a joint event with the Oakland Owlets from Oakland Bird Alliance and a chance for young birders to flock together.

Young birder meet-ups are intended for individuals aged 18 and younger and their families. Participants are responsible for arranging their transportation to and from the events. Additionally, any young birder under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. There is no fee to attend; however, a suggested donation of $10 per young birder or family is appreciated to help cover the costs of hosting these events.

Pre-registration is required. Events will be canceled if fewer than six young birders are registered one week in advance.

If you have any questions, please contact Manager of Education and Events Lindsay Cain at [email protected] or 517-580-7364.
