Critters of Cochise County (George Harris)

OBA meetings open at 6:30 PM and talks begin at 7:00 PM.

City of Auburn Hills Community Center – 3350 E Seyburn Dr, Auburn Hills, MI 48326

Join OBA President George Harris as he recounts his adventures with his wife, Amy, in Southeast Arizona. They’ve explored Cave Creek Ranch three times. Its location near Mexico and diverse habitats make it one of the most biodiverse places in the U.S. The Chiricahua Mountains boast seven life zones, creating unique ecosystems for flora and fauna. It’s one of the only two U.S. spots where the Elegant Trogon nests and hosts 16 varieties of hummingbirds. If that isn’t enough, Portal is also boasts some of the darkest skies in the US, making it a hot spot for observing the night sky.
