Join us at a Sanctuary Bioblitz Exploration Day!

Thursday, July 23, 9am – 12pm

Capital City Bird Sanctuary, Lansing

Please meet at the Hawk Meadows Parking Lot across the street from our sanctuary.

Our bioblitz lasts all summer long, but we would love for you to join us for a special day of exploration and discovery with Michigan Audubon staff!

Each Bioblitz Exploration Day will begin at 9am or 1pm with a brief overview, observation instructions, and a short walk to get you started. Stay for a few hours, or enjoy the sanctuary for as long as you would like. For our full list of summer Bioblitz Exploration days, click here.

Please download the iNaturalist app and login prior to your visit.

In the event of inclement weather, exploration days will be rescheduled.

Dress for the weather and protect yourself from mosquitos and ticks.

To join the project, fill out our form and join the project in iNaturalist! Please email [email protected] with any questions.
