DESCRIPTION:Chapter Event – Project Puffin with Saginaw Valley Audubon Society\nAspen Ellis discusses her experiences working with Project Puffin in the Gulf of Maine. Seabird reintroduction and restoration techniques pioneered by Project Puffin in 1973 are now used worldwide to restore and conserve seabird colonies. Learn about seabird restoration\, research\, what life is like on a seabird island\, and hear stories from three field seasons with Project Puffin. \nTime: \n7:00 p.m. \nLocation:\nGreen Point Environmental Learning Center\, 3010 Maple Street\, Saginaw\, MI. \nMeetings are open to the pubic. Our mission is to promote an interest in\, knowledge of\, and an appreciation for our natural resources. We wish to present opportunities to accomplish this by our monthly programs\, field trips and bird banding.
