DESCRIPTION:GT Audubon September Sunday Bird Walks \nJoin us at various locations around the area for a birding experience designed for those just getting started or wanting to polish their skills. We’ll focus on identification skills\, not just a big list. Outing times listed below for the individual Sunday Bird Walks. Contact Coordinators listed below. \n*September 27 – 3:00 pm – Reffitt Nature Center\nhttps://maps.app.goo.gl/BTS3Ss2HbYPGTTKy5\n* Young Birders Walk *\nIt’s never too early to become a birder! This walk will introduce children of all ages and their parents to the wonder and joy of birds and bird watching.  In addition\, young birders with birding experience will enjoy this bird walk in the special habitat of Reffitt Nature Preserve. Bring binoculars and a bird guide if you have them. SUMMARY:MYBN Meet-up: Haehnle Sanctuary Crane Viewing
DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Haehnle Sanctuary on November 7 from 3 to 6 p.m. for a Michigan Young Birders Network meet-up. \nThis is a joint event with the Oakland Owlets from Oakland Bird Alliance and a chance for young birders to flock together. \nYoung birder meet-ups are intended for individuals aged 18 and younger and their families. Participants are responsible for arranging their transportation to and from the events. Additionally\, any young birder under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. There is no fee to attend; however\, a suggested donation of $10 per young birder or family is appreciated to help cover the costs of hosting these events. \nPre-registration is required. Events will be canceled if fewer than six young birders are registered one week in advance. \nIf you have any questions\, please contact Manager of Education and Events Lindsay Cain at lcain@michiganaudubon.org or 517-580-7364. \nClick here to register for the Haehnle Sanctuary Meet-up on November 7.
