DESCRIPTION:Meet at 8 a.m. in the Black Lake Park parking lot on Wood Road about a mile south of Pontaluna Road. We will walk the entire park slowly looking for resident and migratory birds. \nIt’s a small park so this trip should end before noon.  The public is welcome.  Hope to see you there! \n\n  \nThis event was submitted to our community calendar page by an outside organizer and is not a Michigan Audubon event. SUMMARY:MYBN Meet-Up: Nayanquing Point State Wildlife Area
DESCRIPTION:Join us at Nayanquing Point State Wildlife Area on April 15 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a Michigan Young Birders Network meet-up. \nThese young birder meet-ups will be for those 18 years old and younger and their families. Young birders will be responsible for transportation to and from the meet-ups. An adult must accompany any young birder under the age of 13. \nMeet-ups will last approximately three hours. Young birders can expect to see exciting birds and learn new tips and tricks in bird watching and identification. There is no cost to attend\, but a suggested donation of $10 per young birder or family will help cover expenses associated with hosting these events. \nPre-registration is required. Events will be canceled if fewer than six young birders are registered one week in advance. \nIf you have any questions\, please contact Manager of Education and Events Lindsay Cain at lcain@michiganaudubon.org or 517-580-7364. \nClick here to register for the Nayanquing Point State Wildlife Area meet-up on April 15.\nRegister by April 14\, 2023.
