SUMMARY:Mi Bird-Friendly Communities Lunch & Learn Webinar Series: Bird-Window Collisions
DESCRIPTION:Window collisions kill up to 1 billion birds a year\, making it the second-largest threat to bird populations in the United States.  Birds collide with glass in both residential and commercial settings\, making this a problem for everyone. The good news is that bird-window collisions are preventable. \nJoin Michigan Audubon guest Gail Walter as she describes the problem and potential solutions to bird-window collisions. Gail has been working toward a bird-friendly Kalamazoo program\, focusing first on collisions on the Western Michigan University campus.  \nWe’ll help you understand the basics of what causes collisions and how to prevent them\, and leave you with next steps on what you can do to help. \nRegister for the Zoom webinar here. \nWe will also be broadcasting the webinar live through our Facebook page and a recording will be made available following the event. \n\nThis event is a part of our Mi Bird-Friendly Communities Lunch & Learn webinar series.
