National Wildlife, a publication of the National Wildlife Federation, published an article entitled "Rare Experiences" in their Aug./Sept. '09 issue (vol. 47 #5). The article is comprised of three separate stories about rare birds. In the section written by John Pancake (which is the third story in the article), entitled "An Elusive Warbler in Michigan," the Kirtland's Warbler is the star.
