Lake Bluff Migration Celebration
August 2009
If you’ve never been to Lake Bluff, you won’t want to miss seeing the fall shorebird and hawk migration. During the event there will be guided hikes on the sanctuary nature trails, guided tours of the gardens and manor house and lots of fun activities for the youngsters. Plus there is that entire lake front beach to walk in search of migrating shorebirds. A few local birding ‘hotspots’ will be opened up to participants for the day.
