Grosse Pointe Audubon
A chapter of Michigan Audubon Society

Serving the Grosse Pointes, Harper Woods and beyond.

Welcome!

We meet in the Annex of the Grosse Pointe Unitarian Church, 17150 Maumee, between St. Clair and Neff, Grosse Pointe, the third Monday of September, October, November, January, February, March and April. We also hold our annual Grosse Pointe Birding Challenge in late April and our Annual Meeting at Seven Ponds Nature Center near Dryden, Mich., in early May. You're welcome to join us at any of our meetings.

Fall 2008 Meeting Schedule

Time: Social hour at 7 p.m., meeting at 7:30 p.m.


Sept. 15

Brenda Dziedzic, president of the Southeast Michigan Butterfly Association will present a program called “Butterfly Gardening”.


Oct. 20

Bob Pettit who is active with the Hawk Migration Association of North America, the Whitefish Point Bird Observatory and the Holiday Beach Migration Observatory will present a program on hawk identification.


Nov. 17

Tom Schneider, curator of birds at the Detroit Zoo, will present a program called “Detroit Zoo’s Conservation Programs”.

Join us!

Annual dues are $15 for individuals and $25 for families. Memberships run from Sept. 1 - Aug. 31. Join at any meeting.
