China Adventures

Capital Area Audubon Society presents China Adventures. Hear about The Nature Conservancy’s wetland restoration efforts in China, plus a birding excursion to its remote Gaolingongshan Mountains region.
Presenters: Chris May, The Nature Conservancy (Michigan) Director of Restoration, and Jen Owen, MSU associate professor, Dept. of Fisheries & Wildlife and Director of Burke Lake Banding Station.
CAAS meets the first Thursday of the month, September through June, at Fenner Nature Center, 2020 E. Mt. Hope Ave., Lansing (corner of Mt. Hope Ave. and Aurelius Rd.)
Refreshments at 7:00 p.m. Meetings begin at 7:30 p.m. with announcements and bird sightings and then the program.
