Monthly programs are held at the University of Michigan Matthaei Botanical Gardens, 1800 North Dixboro Rd., Ann Arbor. The chapter also sponsors field trips, bird count activities and conservation work.

All of our activities are generally open to non-members, and we welcome your participation. However, membership in the group helps supports our many events and activities. As a member you will receive a bimonthly newsletter alerting you to our activities and containing additional enjoyable material, sharing with you the birding and naturalist interests of other members, and containing notable bird sightings and other items of interest to southeast Michigan naturalists.
