They meet the 3rd Thursday of each month, April through November. Meetings are held at the Friendship Center at Rush and Park Streets in Pentwater, unless otherwise noted. Meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. with a social one-half hour with refreshments, followed by an informative nature program and a short business meeting.

Sable Dunes publishes a newsletter and sponsors activities which include picnics, bird walks, bird surveys, and nature hikes. Visitors are welcome at all meetings and activities.
